Customer service is a large field that extends to every industry. Customer service representatives often act as the frontline between the company and the customer, providing information on a company’s products and services and providing solutions to customer problems. Customer service representatives must have excellent communication and customer-service skills. Representatives should be able to listen to customers and address their needs in order to solve a customer’s problem. This helps contribute to customer loyalty and retention.
